Here's what you'll need to provide to find NHS shifts with Progressive Resources.
If you’re a nurse, we need your 8-digit NMC number so we can check your registration with the NMC.
We need to collect two professional references covering three years for your application. We'll also need to know your employment information from the last five years, so please send us your CV.
To confirm your right to work in the UK with an RTW check, we’ll need either a copy of your passport, a valid visa, or a biometric ID / residence card.
You'll need to fill out an SOE questionnaire, which we'll send to NHS facilities with a copy of your vaccine record.
We'll need a fitness to work certificate, or fit note, to confirm you're able to work in NHS facilities.
DBS (England): We require a picture of your enhanced DBS certificate. If it is more than one year old, we’ll also require your DBS Update Service ID.
If your certificate is over a year old and you are not registered with the update service, read about how you can get registered and get a new certificate here. You'll need to pay for your renewal, but after you complete your first shift, we'll reimburse you.
PVG (Scotland): We require a picture of your PVG certificate.
If your certificates are more than a year old, you can complete your training for free on Progressive Academy
You’ll need at least one year of UK work experience as a carer or support worker, or one year of UK experience as a nurse to find NHS shifts through Progressive Resources . The NHS trusts that use Progressive Resources require that you explain any gaps in your employment history.
We'll go through your application to make sure you've submitted the right documents, and then we'll ask you to interview with us. /div>
